Lane DeGregory, a Pulitzer Prize-winning staff writer at the Tampa Bay Times, will discuss and sign her new anthology, “The Girl in the Window and Other True Tales,” at 6 p.m. May 30 at the Gulf Beaches Library, 200 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach. Free.

Young adult and children’s writer Greg Neri, winner of the Coretta Scott King Award and author of “Polo Cowboy” and “Concrete Cowboy,” will speak at 6 p.m. June 1 at the Temple Terrace Library, 202 Bullard Parkway. Free.
