PINELLAS COUNTY — “The Plus One,” which was filmed around Pinellas County in early 2022, is now in theaters nationwide and available on streaming services beginning Tuesday.
The movie stars Ashanti as Lizzie who, according to IMDB.com, requests that her “male of honor” doesn’t bring his hated ex-girlfriend to her destination wedding. But he does, and she “does everything in her power to wreck Lizzie’s big day.”
“The Plus One” also stars Cedric the Entertainer.
Locally, it can be seen at Studio Movie Grill in Seminole.
The film was produced by David Yates, the former CEO of the Clearwater Aquarium.
