Hamilfans will have to wait until November 2022 to see Hamilton in Tampa.

The David. A Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts announced that the hit Broadway musical has been postponed from its original engagement in June 2021. It has been rescheduled to Nov. 15-Dec. 11, 2022.

A news release from the venue stated that it was postponed “to ensure the health and safety of all those onstage, backstage and in the audience,” because of the ongoing pandemic.

Existing tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates and times. Ticket holders who can’t attend the new date should email comments@strazcenter.org to receive a credit, request a refund or donate their ticket funds to the Straz.

The rescheduled engagement of Hamilton will be on priority sale only for Straz Center donors, Broadway season ticket holders and groups of 10 and more.

A public on sale date will be announced closer to the rescheduled performances.
