Get ready to return to Siesta Key.

The Sarasota area-based MTV reality show is returning for a fourth season May 12 at 8 p.m.

The show, described as a cross between Laguna Beach and The Hills, will continue to follow a group of young adults grappling with love, heartbreak and drama.

While the series has been set in Sarasota County, the coronavirus pandemic prompted the cast and crew to create a quarantine bubble at “an international private resort,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“Siesta Key’s new slate of sizzling episodes focuses on Juliette and Kelsey hustling to launch their businesses, Brandon embarking on his unexpected journey into fatherhood, Chloe refocusing her energy, and Madisson’s nuptials right on the horizon,” a release said. “But life takes an unexpected twist when the crew steps off the Key and into uncharted territory.”

Siesta Key premiered in 2017. Dr. Gary Kompothecras, aka the Gary of 1-800-Ask-Gary fame, is an executive producer for the show. His son, Alex Kompothecras, was a cast member until several racist posts surfaced in June 2020, prompting MTV to cut ties with him.
