A new year means a new show for radio host Ryan Gorman.

The iHeartMedia Tampa Bay’s News Radio WFLA host will debut “The Ryan Gorman Show” on Jan. 4. It’s part of the station’s expanded morning drive lineup, which was announced Tuesday.

News Radio WFLA will be extending its morning show programming to five hours. “AM Tampa Bay with Jack Harris” will now broadcast from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., with Gorman’s new show following from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“I’m excited to make the move to mornings and follow Jack Harris, a Tampa Bay and talk radio legend, and bring something unique and different to talk radio,” said Gorman in a news release. “We’re going to cover the biggest stories of the day and have fun doing it.”

Gorman, a fixture at the station since March 2018, will be joined by co-host Aaron Jacobson and producers Katie Butchino and James Burlander. They’ll interview local guests, cover news stories and trending topics as well as share traffic and weather updates.

He will still host the nationally broadcast show “iHeartRadio Communities,” which follows significant national topics.
