Universal Orlando has announced a buy one, get one day free ticket deal for Florida residents that is good through February at its theme parks. It’s a value of at least $164 for park admission.
You have to buy your tickets online by Dec. 16, but then you have until Feb. 4 to use them at Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. And for another $25 you can add a day at Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park.
The tickets do not have to be used on consecutive days, but there are blocked-out days from Dec. 18 through Jan. 3 during the busy Christmas season.
Florida residents will have to visit a participating Wendy’s restaurant and purchase a specially marked cup with a promo code. That promo code will then have to be entered online to purchase the BOGO tickets.
Ticket prices vary by the day, but they start at $164 for adults.
Some new attractions at the theme parks include the coaster Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and the live stunt show Jason Bourne in The Bourne Stuntacular. Universal’s holiday celebration, which runs from Nov. 13 through Jan. 2, will bring back the “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection show and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. It has more than 30 larger-than-life balloons and floats and hundreds of performers on the streets of Universal Studios.
