As a result of the increasingly prevalent omicron variant of COVID-19, Universal Orlando Resort will require face coverings at indoor locations regardless of vaccination status for all guests and team members beginning Dec. 24.

A release from Universal stated face coverings are also required “at all attractions from the moment guests enter the queue to when they exit the experience.”

Guests are expected to bring a mask with them the day they visit.

Universal said it would continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed.
