A nearly 2-mile drive-through of continuous Christmas lights is coming to the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds, and it opens Thanksgiving Day.

In addition to the 1 million lights along the way, guests can take a festive walking tour to visit Santa’s Village. The family-friendly events run Nov. 25-Dec. 26.

The elaborate light displays themed to Florida and traditional winter holidays are complemented by individual presentations representing Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. While walking the area, you will find a petting zoo called Santa’s Interactive Barnyard, featuring Rudy, a snow-white camel.

It’s at 215 Sydney Washer Road in Brandon. Admission is $25 per car for up to eight people at hillsboroughcountyfair.com.
