First Night St. Pete 2022: First Night St Pete is marking its 29th Anniversary Celebration of the Arts LIVE throughout downtown St. Petersburg on New Year’s Eve. The Interactive Art Park returns with hands-on exhibits and activities. This year’s program includes eight hours of music, literary arts, aerial arts, fire jugglers, a peace flag project and fireworks displays at 8 p.m. and midnight. City of Gulfport New Year’s Eve Fireworks: Williams Pier closes to the public Dec. 30 to prepare for Gulfport’s annual fireworks display. The best viewing areas are Veterans Park and Gulfport Beach. City of St. Pete Beach New Year’s Eve Fireworks: The City of St. Pete Beach closes Upham Beach at sundown to prepare to launch fireworks directly from the beach.
