Music On the Bay: This Parrot Head trop-rock music festival blends Caribbean, tropical-island, Latin and rock reggae and other beach music scene genres. In addition to music, there will be vendors with “parrotphanalia” and more. $90-$95. 2-10 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Swamp Fest: Swamp creatures roam the grounds of the 29th annual festival with handcrafted arts and crafts, live music and a swamp monster costume contest. $5, $3 ages 6-12, 5 and younger free. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Back to Earth: NASA Astronaut Nicole Stott: In celebration of Women’s History Month, meet Pinellas County resident, Clearwater High School graduate, aquanaut and astronaut Nicole Stott, who will discuss her experiences as an astronaut and her life-changing view of Earth. Explore More! Days: Each “Explore More!” day features a special exhibition, so you can explore a new world of art every time. This month focuses on the exhibition “Bernini and the Roman Baroque.” Travel back in time and explore the drama, imagination and beauty of Rome in the 1600s. Learn about the artists who transformed this historical city, as well as the stories, people and places that inspired them. Trashed: Opening reception for an art show where 85 percent of the materials have been found or otherwise set aside to be “Trashed.” The show is meant to shed light on what we toss aside and what ends up in landfills and waterways.
