Top 15 Tampa Bay area events for the week of May 30-June 5

Free activities for kids this week include golfing and fishing.
Starting this week, kids ages 5 to 15 get a free bucket of range balls, a round of miniature golf or 18 holes of golf to help them learn the game and stay active through out the summer.

Free Golf for Kids: Families who can’t afford to put their children in summer camp but still want them to be active can sign children up for a free summer golf program. Children ages 5 to 15 get a free bucket of golf balls to hit on the practice range every day June 1 through Aug. 31. Children are encouraged to bring their own clubs if they have them, but rentals will be available. Offer valid at Ace Golf locations in Riverview, Land O’ Lakes and Tarpon Springs. At the Riverview and Land O’ Lakes locations, children may substitute a free round of mini golf instead of a free bucket of balls. In addition to the practice program, children get a free round of 18 holes of golf after noon each day when accompanied by a paying adult. Free. 9 a.m. daily Wednesday through Aug. 31. Pride Night with the Rays: Rays fans can show their pride when the Tampa Bay Rays face the Chicago White Sox. A $30 ticket includes a seat for the game and a Rays Pride hat. Hats must be picked up at the redemption center between Gate 3 and the 1st Base Food Hall before the sixth inning. Carmen 2022: More than 25 Tampa City Ballet dancers present a new adaptation of the ballet with a multidisciplinary fusion of ballet, art, contemporary dance, opera and flamenco-inspired movement. $68.75 and up. 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 3-5 p.m. Sunday. Summer Glow: Spend your day at the beach and still have time to spend with rescued animals at the aquarium. Busch Gardens Summer Celebration: Busch Gardens splashes the summer sky with colorful pyrotechnics show featuring fireworks, fountains, and special effects every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night (plus Memorial Day and the Fourth of July) at 9:15 p.m. on Festival Field.
