Memorial Day Ceremony: The 35th annual Memorial Day observance program features a guest speaker, retired U .S. Army Maj. Kerry Roberts, who served as a strategic planner at the Pentagon and Army Cyber Command, deployed to Afghanistan and served overseas on the staff of the United Nations in Jerusalem; the national anthem presented by Sonya Bryson-Kirksey; a performance by the Palm Harbor United Methodist Church Choir; and refreshments. Pride Immersive Experience: Have you ever wanted to step inside a rainbow? Round up friends and family for the second annual St. Pete Pride Immersive Experience, which radiates rainbows. You’ll also see “Mermaid Star Motel attractions” in an array of new colors. $19-$27, 3 and younger free. $1 Golf for Kids: All summer long, kids ages 4-15 can get a $1 bucket of range balls and a $1 round of miniature golf. Golf clubs are available to rent. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Roller Derby: Bring a beach chair and have a seat to watch the Mom and Pop’s Militia take on the Tampa Death Rollers in mixed-gender, flat-track roller derby action at this benefit for Knitters for Charity. A tailgate party with food trucks and free beer takes place in the parking lot. $10-$12, 12 and younger free. 5:45 p.m. Sunday (June 4). Summer Classics Movie Series: Now in its 32nd year, Tampa’s longest-running classic movie series celebrates a century of extraordinary filmmaking. It includes silent films, singalongs, Disney classics and more. This portion features the 1993 comedy “Mrs. Doubtfire” (PG-13, 125 minutes). $10, $7 members. 3 p.m. Sunday (June 4). Clearwater Threshers: The Threshers take on their local rivals, the Dunedin Blue Jays. Upcoming special events and promotions include:

  • Pitch for Pink: Breast cancer survivors are invited to walk the bases before the game, and everyone entering gets a pink fanny pack. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction of Threshers memorabilia benefits breast cancer programs through the Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation. $7. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday (June 2).
  • First Responders Night: Game proceeds cover attendance costs for first responders at Operation Restore at the Franciscan Center in Tampa. There will be a fireworks salute to first responders after the game. $7. 6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday (June 3).
  • Domingo Divertido: It’s Sunday Funday at the ballpark. Get two tickets, two hot dogs, two soft drinks, two bags of chips and free parking for $16. Noon Sunday (June 4).
