Knight Parade: WWE superstar Ric Flair will serve as grand marshal for the Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago “Knight Parade” featuring illuminated floats, marching bands, Krewes, local dignitaries, elaborate costumes and beads. Florida State Fair: The 2024 fair returns with all the weird food items, prize animal shows, roaming entertainment, midway games and rides. This week’s promotional days are as follows: Thursday (Feb 8): Heroes Day: Free admission for law enforcement, first responders, active or retired military and veterans with valid ID. Sunday (Feb. 11): Super Savings Sunday: Free admission for law enforcement, first responders, active or retired military and veterans with valid ID. Free admission with purchase of an Anyday Armband after 3 p.m. $6-$16 advanced. Prices increase at the gate. 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Sunday (Feb. 8-11). The fair runs through Feb. 19. Monster Jam: Monster trucks fly through the air and crush lesser vehicles at Raymond James Stadium. Show up early for tailgating and pictures with the drivers and trucks.
