A new connection is coming to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.
Allegiant Airlines announced Tuesday that nonstop flights to and from Akron, Ohio will launch next year.
Flights will start as low as $59 for a limited time, according to a media release. The route will operate twice a week beginning March 4.
“St. Pete-Clearwater is one of the most popular destinations in Allegiant’s network,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and network planning, said in a statement.
The Las Vegas-based airliner also announced it’s adding more routes connecting Akron to Florida and Georgia starting next year from the Punta Gorda Airport, Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.
