Valentine’s Day is traditionally a day to spoil that special someone in your life. Taking them out for a meal so they don’t have to cook is a good way to say “I love you.” The following is a list of 38 special offerings from Tampa Bay area restaurants and other businesses.

Council Oak Steaks and Seafood: In addition to the normal menu, guests can enjoy the featured Valentine’s Day special: an 18-ounce chateaubriand and twin lobster tails with red wine demi-glace and garlic beurre blanc. $220. HEW Chophouse: The Fenway Hotel’s restaurant is offering a five-course Valentine’s Day dinner for two. K-Club Bar and Bistro: The Karol Hotel’s restaurant is offering a prix fixe menu. It features a cheese plate, choice of mushroom bisque or Caesar salad, choice of rack of lamb, pork chop, grouper, salmon or filet mignon and choice of dessert. $69 per person. Rivers Edge Restaurant and Bar: Chefs at Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Hotel’s restaurant have prepared a four-course meal with appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Melting Pot: Melting Pot is offering a three-day Valentine’s Day deal. Couples can enjoy choice of bacon and Brie, green goddess cheddar or Wisconsin trio cheese fondue, choice of strawberry almond or Caesar salad, choice of a combination of meat entrees and choice of chocolate fondue. $60 per person Feb. 12-13, $80 per person Feb. 14. Elevage: The Epicurean Hotel’s restaurant is offering the regular menu, as well as a special tasting menu. The meal starts off with an Aphrodisiac sampler featuring a cold water oyster, honey mussel and jumbo lump crab salad. It also includes lobster pot pie, Florida snapper and beef ribeye. $100. RumFish Grill: Food Network star Marc Cummings has created a special Valentine’s Day menu exclusively for RumFish Grill. It features choice of shrimp ceviche, roasted Brussels sprouts, salad wedge or Caesar salad, choice of stuffed snapper or shrimp scampi and choice of dessert. $56 per person. Bon Appetit: Bon Appetit offers two ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day. There will be a buffet and dance in the upstairs ballroom (5-9 p.m. Feb. 12) and a formal four-course dinner (4-9 p.m. Feb. 14). Wear comfortable shoes and sip on a welcome glass of Champagne before eating antipasto, lobster bisque, Caesar salad, prime rib, grouper, chicken breast, shrimp and bay scallops, green beans, mashed potatoes and rice pilaf at the ballroom dance on Feb. 12 ($99). Or, dress in red or black for a seated dinner with choice of lobster bisque, fresh fruit or seared yellowfin tuna, followed by Valentine’s Day salad, choice of lobster tail, filet mignon, rack of lamb, sea bass or duck and dessert on Feb. 14 ($99). Packard’s Steakhouse: Packard’s is offering two lovers meals for two and a vegetarian meal for one. Couples can choose from a 2-pound stuffed lobster ($155) or chateaubriand for two ($135). Vegetarians can feast on truffle risotto with peas and egg ($68 for one). All meals include choice of appetizer and dessert. Feb. 14. Columbia Restaurant: Chefs at the Columbia have come up with new items to tempt you for Valentine’s Day. Items include baked oysters with cream spinach and chorizo filling ($18), baked sea bass topped with lobster butter ($42) and chocolate cake with sherry-marinated strawberries ($9). Feb. 14. Metro Diner: Metro Diner is offering a variety of red velvet sweet treats for dine-in, takeout or delivery. Outback Steakhouse: Outback’s four-course special includes a grilled shrimp appetizer to share, two side salads, choice of two from sirloin, grilled salmon and Alice Springs chicken and a cheesecake to share. Ruth’s Chris: The Tenderloin for Two meal includes two starters (steak house salad, Caesar salad or shrimp cocktail), one 22-ounce chateaubriand for two, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and one slice of chocolate cake. $150. 22 Moons Antiques and Tea Room: Find a night of romance in a private room with a five-course meal set to violin music. Start off with a complimentary bottle of Champagne before digging in to broiled oysters, a charcuterie board, salad, beef Wellington with lobster medallions, potato mousse, carrots and chocolate mousse. $175 per couple. Jada Vidala: The popular young popup chef presents flavors and wine pairings inspired by the South. The menu features French onion tart, chicken ‘n dumplings, a filet and bananas Foster. Seasons 52: Seasons 52 is offering two takeout deals for Valentine’s Day. Choice one is a dinner for two including filet mignon, salad, sides, two mini strawberry desserts and a bottle of wine ($110). Choice two is a Green Box bundle feeding four to six. Flute & Dram: Guests can choose from two specialty Champagne packages complete with premium caviar.
