The Ritz Ybor to debut socially distanced pods during Labor Day reopening

The venue announced new coronavirus measures on Instagram.

The party is coming back to the Ritz Ybor on Labor Day weekend.

The Tampa venue has been closed since June 26, when Florida suspended the sale of alcohol at bars. It reopens next weekend at 25 percent capacity.

Posts on Facebook and Instagram said the Ritz will offer several packages for admission. All include a table, at least one couch and entry for between 5-10 guests, who must stay within their designated pod.

The only time people can leave their section is to go to the restroom or outside. Servers will take food and drink orders from each area.

Masks must be worn at all times when not consuming food or drinks, and all staff and customers must go through a temperature check before entering the building.
