Just a few months after opening its location in Tampa Heights, Sweetgreen is opening in Hyde Park Village on Tuesday.
The build-your-own salad and bowl chain has locations across the country and is known for its healthy and customizable approach, attention to organic farming practices and sustainability, and detailed descriptions of ingredient origins.
The 2,310-square-foot location in Tampa’s Hyde Park Village will accommodate 12 diners inside with banquette seating and 44 diners outside on the restaurant’s patio with picnic seating.
Opening day festivities and swag include a gift from Posie’s Flower Truck with the purchase of a bowl, a crispy rice treat giveaway for kids and a photobooth from Dreams2Reality.
Tampa-based artist Ashley Cassens was commissioned to paint a mural at the restaurant.
For every meal sold on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Feeding Tampa Bay, which provides food to families in Hillsborough County.
Sweetgreen is located at 722 South Village Circle, Tampa. It’s open from 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
