1. Clearwater Marine Aquarium: Whales are having a moment. If you have Disney+, you need to check out the intriguing National Geographic series Secrets of the Whales. Closer to home, check out the Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s “Whales: Living with Giants” exhibit, which runs through Aug. 31. There’s a walk-through, life-sized whale gallery and an interactive kids zone. There is also a virtual reality theater, where you can take on the role of a marine biologist and immerse yourself in the world of giant humpback whales and other undersea wildlife. 2. Busch Gardens indoor shows: Starting Friday, Busch Gardens’ award-winning ice-skating production Turn It Up! returns. There also will be a new show, Cirque Electric. Turn It Up! will be offered in the Moroccan Palace Theater several times a day from Thursdays through Mondays. Cirque Electric, an acrobatic stunt show with “displays of balance and strength and a fascinating act on wheels that cannot be missed,” according to a park news release, will be offered several times a day from Fridays through Mondays. 3. Children’s Board Free Tuesday: The Glazer Children’s Museum is free on the first Tuesday of every month. Due to the high attendance volume on Free Tuesday, registration is required to allow for social distancing. 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa. 813-443-3861. glazermuseum.org/freetuesdays.

4. Summer Fun Days: Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales is offering free admission the last Friday of the month through September. No voucher or reservation is necessary. Located about 25 miles southeast of Lakeland, the historic gardens have hundreds of flower varieties and a bird sanctuary. Face masks are required in interior spaces. Free. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. 5. Free Golf for Kids: All Ace Golf locations are offering kids ages 5 to 15 a free small bucket of range balls every day through Aug. 31. Or, they can play a full 18 holes of golf on the course for free when accompanied by a paying adult. At the Riverview and Land O’ Lakes locations, kids can brush up on their putting and substitute a round of miniature golf.
