1. Dog Swim Day: In the dog days of summer, you can spoil your pet with a day at the pool. The end of swim season marks a day of leash-free fun for canine friends as they swim and play in the pool with no humans allowed. Owners must bring proof of the dog’s vaccinations. 3. Flick and Float: Float around the North Shore pool in downtown St. Petersburg and watch Frozen II. The party starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Admission is $2, $1 for ages 3-12 at the aquatic complex at 901 North Shore Drive NE, St. Petersburg.
4. Summer Circus Spectacular: This is the last week to see a show of circus royalty at the Circus Arts Conservatory. The Ringling and the Sarasota conservatory present a showcase of some of the finest circus artists from around the world. There are performances twice a day Monday through Saturday. Showtimes are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays. And your ticket gets you $5 admission to the Ringling Museum that day. $18, $12 ages 12 and younger. 5. Megacon Orlando: Stars from the Netflix series Lucifer as well as Full House stars Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier, Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccleston, Brendan Fraser from The Mummy, and Star Trek’s William Shatner and George Takei are among the celebrities headed to MegaCon Orlando this weekend. In addition to these stars, there will also be appearances from comic book artists and writers and a huge shopping and vendor area. Single-day tickets begin at $20 and up for adults and $15 for children ages 6-12.
