A live stage show based on Nickelodeon’s hit preschool series PAW Patrol has postponed next week’s stop in Tampa because of COVID-19 concerns.

The animated show about rescue “Pups At Work” airs during the Nick Jr. programming block aimed at kids under 6. The live version was to be performed for fours shows Sept. 18 and 19 at the Yuengling Center on the University of South Florida campus.

But Nickelodeon and producer VStar Entertainment Group have postponed September stops on their tour, “out of an abundance of caution due to the rise in COVID-19 cases,” the Yuengling Center’s website says.

Though a new date hasn’t been set, other stops on the tour have rescheduled shows for October 2022. Tampa audiences were urged to keep their tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates.
