In a few weeks, the St. Pete Pier is bringing back a great photo opportunity with its fall pumpkin patch.
The lawn beneath the Bending Arc, the billowing net sculpture created by artist Janet Echelman, will be filled with thousands of pumpkins, hay bales, refreshments and a free photo booth set up Oct. 9-17.
You can take a fall family picture and also buy a pumpkin to take home.
The pumpkins will be set up at the Pier’s Family Park, which is near the entrance at 800 Second Ave. NE, St. Petersburg.
While the pumpkins are there, the Pier will also have a Fall Festival that will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on Oct. 9 and noon-6 p.m. Oct. 10. There will be kids activities, music and food vendors.
Operation hours for the pumpkin patch are:
- Oct. 9: 12-9 p.m.
- Oct. 10: 12-8 p.m.
- Oct. 11-15th: 5-9 p.m.
- Oct. 16: 12-9 p.m.
- Oct. 17: 12-6 p.m.
