Dead and Company will play the MidFlorida Amphitheatre on its upcoming U.S. tour.
The supergroup featuring original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, along with John Mayer on guitars, Oteil Burbridge on bass and Jeff Chimenti on keyboards, will perform at the Tampa venue on Oct. 7.
The 31-date tour kicking off in August includes one other Florida stop, in West Palm Beach, on Oct. 6.
Tickets will go on sale May 21 at noon local via Ticketmaster.com. A “verified fan” presale, which requires registration at verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/deadandco, begins May 19, at 10 a.m., promoter Live Nation said in a news release.
Individual prices were not included in the Live Nation release. An array of packages, some of which include posters, early admission, food and drinks, will range from $139 to $779 per person.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for entry to the general admission pit.
A number of concerts have been recently announced for 2021 and 2022 at the MidForida Amphitheatre in Tampa, including Chicago, Alanis Morissette, Brad Paisley, Hall & Oates and Chris Stapleton.
