A musical tradition returns with new digs when Clearwater Jazz Holiday comes to BayCare Ballpark on Oct. 14-17. The 42-year-old festival moved from Coachman Park, which is being redeveloped in the Imagine Clearwater project.
Headliners for the four-day festival are soul-funk legends Kool and the Gang, jazz-swing revivalists Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, “queen of disco” Gloria Gaynor and instrumental fusion group Snarky Puppy.
Fireworks are on the schedule after Gaynor’s performance on Oct. 16. Those will put quite the exclamation point on I Will Survive, Gaynor’s disco anthem.
There will be reduced capacity at the ballpark, which is home to the Clearwater Threshers. The schedule and artist lineup are subject to change.
Tickets start at $10 in advance. Limited VIP Hospitality tables of four or two are also available. For tickets or more information, visit clearwaterjazz.com or call 727-461-5200.
