Yes, it’s them again, and they’re back. R&B girl group TLC are celebrating the 27th anniversary of their album Crazysexycool with a tour that stops at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s event center Oct. 21.

Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas will perform favorites from the 1994 diamond-certified album, including the No. 1 international hits Creep and Waterfalls. In 1995, the album won the Grammy Award for Best R&B album and Creep took the Grammy for Best R&B Performance for a Duo or Group with Vocal.

Original member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was killed in a car accident in Honduras in 2002. Watkins and Thomas never replaced Lopes, but have included her image and elements of her voice during tours. A statement ahead of their 2014 tour said, “TLC will not be using a hologram of late member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes on their 2014 tour dates. Instead, T-Boz and Chilli hold it down as a duo, tastefully honoring Left Eye with passionate renditions of their biggest hits.”

Their 1999 album FanMail and its hit single No Scrubs also snagged Grammy Awards.

The Celebration of CrazySexyCool tour is steeped in ‘90s nostalgia, with fashions from the era, fan interaction and special guests.

Tickets are $80 and available at ticketmaster.com.
