Josh Groban will perform in St. Petersburg with The Florida Orchestra at its gala concert in February.
Music director Michael Francis will conduct A Gala Evening with Josh Groban at the Mahaffey Theater on Feb. 5, 2022. Tickets go on sale Dec. 13.
Grammy-, Tony- and Emmy Award-nominated singer, songwriter and actor Groban is known for his live performances and is a multiplatinum-selling artist. He’s appeared on television and film and starred on Broadway in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. Groban’s latest album, Harmony, is a collection of timeless songs. Over the past year, Groban has performed a series of livestreamed concerts.
The gala concert is a fundraiser that benefits the orchestra’s artistic, education and community programs. Those programs include free TFO Strings for Kids violin classes and Youth Concerts.
Concert tickets are $75-$200 and do not include the gala reception or dinner. They go on sale on Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. at floridaorchestra.org/ or by calling 727-892-3337 or 800-662-7286.
Limited VIP Gala sponsorships are on sale now until early January, pending availability. The gala includes a preconcert reception with a private bar, hors d’oeuvres and live music, premium concert seating and a post-concert gourmet seated dinner with musicians and music director Michael Francis in the Mahaffey atrium.
