Fans of New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi won’t be livin’ on a prayer to see them play live much longer. After recording and releasing new music for the past two years, Bon Jovi will bring their 2022 tour to Tampa’s Amalie Arena on April 15.
Tickets go on sale Jan. 14.
Since forming in 1983, the band known for anthem hits including Wanted Dead or Alive, Bad Medicine and You Give Love a Bad Name has sold more than 130 million albums and performed in more than 50 countries. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 and lead singer Jon Bon Jovi was inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2009.
The Associated Press noted that Bon Jovi’s album 2020, released that year, was a departure from the band’s optimistic anthem songs, with lyrics that “chronicle pain, loss, fear and death from the coronavirus, police killings and mass shootings.”
Tickets range from $15.75 to $746.25 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 14 at ticketmaster.com.
