At long last, Doja Cat is coming to Tampa.

The “Say So” singer will bring The Scarlet Tour to Amalie Arena on Friday, Nov. 24. Doechii, a rising rap star who grew up in Tampa, will open the show.

Doja Cat hasn’t played many other concerts in Florida since she was catapulted to fame. Her last local gig was at 94.1′s Wild Splash concert in Clearwater on March 7, 2020, days before the pandemic shut down Florida. A number of her songs blew up on TikTok during lockdown, inspiring several viral dance trends. Doechii also grew her following on the video app thanks to her single “Yucky Blucky Fruitcake” becoming a trending sound.

Doja now has over 20 billion worldwide streams. She’s played Coachella, The Grammy Awards, MTV’s VMA’s, The American Music Awards and The Billboard Awards. This will be her first North America arena tour. Ice Spice will open half of the dates, including the Miami stop, but will not perform in Tampa.
