The folks who brought the annual Reggae Rise Up Music Festival to Vinoy Park have set their sights on the St. Pete Pier.
The Rise Up St. Pete concert series is coming to downtown St. Pete’s landmark. The series, which starts in November, will be produced by Pier Events, LLC and LNE Presents, the parent company of Reggae Rise up.
“After producing Reggae Rise Up Florida for more than 10 years, we’re excited to partner with the St. Pete Pier to bring continued large-scale concerts to downtown St. Pete,” said Vaugh Carrick, founder and owner of LNE Presents, in a news release. “During that time, we’ve gotten a front-row seat to witness the growth of the city’s entertainment scene and couldn’t imagine a better venue for shows of this size and stature.”
Where will the music take place?
The shows will happen outside at Spa Beach Park at the St. Pete Pier, taking advantage of the local scenery and restaurants.
There will be local food trucks and vendors serving vegan and vegetarian options, plus a bar for guests 21 and older.
