Liberty, Woody, Oliver, Sparkle and Meatball will warm your heart, and your home

Manatee — Liberty

Liberty is a 3-year-old, domestic short hair mix cat. She’s black with patches of white on her chest and paws. She was found starving in the streets with three kittens. Nursed back to health, her kittens have been adopted out, and now she awaits her turn for a forever home. She’s vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for all common cat illnesses. Pasco — Woody

Woody is a 3-month-old male kitten. He tends to be shy of humans, but warms up quickly once he gets to know you. He likes to be petted and held and purrs as soon as you pick him up. If you’d like to adopt him, call the SPCA Suncoast at (727) 849-1048.

Hernando — Oliver

Oliver is a 2-year old, brown brindle and white, male terrier mix. He’s a 78-pound big boy who loves to spend his time outside playing. He gets along well with people and other dogs, but is best for a home without cats or other small animals. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heart worm tested. Pinellas — Sparkle

Sparkle is a 10-year-old female cat. She’s very sad because she was brought to the shelter after her owner died. She loves to lounge under desks or chair, get groomed and eat treats. Hillsborough — Meatball

Meatball is an active puppy. The shelter isn’t sure of his age, but they say he’s a “roly poly bundle of fun and happiness.” He gets along well with other dogs and craves extra playtime. He’s best suited for a family with a big, fenced in yard and time for training. He comes vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
