Hernando — Calvin

Calvin is an 8-year-old, male bluemerle Catahoula mix. Even though he favors his back hips a bit, he’s still ready to play and go for walks. He loves being with people, but hates being crated. He prefers a comfortable spot, by your side, in the house. For more information, call the Hernando County Animal Services at 352-796-5062.

Pasco — McLovin

McLovin is a 5-year-old, male St. Bernard mix. He came to the shelter after his owner died. He greatly misses walks with his Daddy. He got his name because he’s easy going, playful and a total love bug. He likes walks, swimming, playing, snuggling on the couch and car rides. For more information, call the SPCA Suncoast at 727-849-1048.

Pinellas — Carlie

Carlie is a 2-year-old, female mixed breed dog. She had a rough start in life, so she’s a bit timid around new people. Once she gets to know you, she gains confidence and her personality shines through. Her foster family says, “She’s quite fond of belly rubs and is super excited to play with her toys. She even carries her favorite ball with her on walks.” For more information, call the Friends of Strays adoption center at 727-522-6566, ext. 102.

Carlie was shy at first, but her personality has really blossomed while in foster care.

Hillsborough — Mouse

Mouse is a very young, female kitten. She was rescued days after she was born and bottle fed to her current state of health. Mouse is a very busy, curious and active kitten. Her high level of sociability make her best suited for a home with another cat. For adoption information, go to StFrancisRescue.org.
