Pinellas — Juju

Juju is a 2-year-old female dog of unknown breed. She recently gave birth to nine puppies who have all found new homes, and now it’s time for her to find hers. She’s a sweet girl with big brown eyes that melt your heart. She gets along well with male dogs, but doesn’t like cats. She’s crate trained and up to date on her medical, but was recently diagnosed heart worm positive and will soon under go treatment. Pasco — Baku

Baku is a 7-year-old male dog of unknown breed. He’s house trained, sits on command and walks well on a leash. He likes to chase a ball, chew on his toy and go for long walks. He’s calm and fun loving, but doesn’t get along well with hyper dogs or ones that challenge him. He’s working on manners because he’s not fond of sharing food or toys. Baku is heartworm positive and Pasco County Animal Service workers will recommend treatment options. If you’d like to meet him, call 813-929-1212.

Hernando — Hazel

Hazel is a 4-year-old black and white female Terrier mix. She needs to be the only dog in the home because she was brought to the shelter after displaying dog aggression. She was very fearful of humans, but shelter volunteers have worked with her and brought her out of her shell. She’s food motivated, so training goes quickly. She needs a gentle, patient owner who will have the time and patience to further her growth. For more information, contact Hernando County Animal Services at 352-796-5062.

Manatee — Bumper

Bumper is a 1-year-old male German Shepard mix. He loves playing with toys and running around outside. He knows several commands and is eager to learn more. He quickly shows affection after he gets to know you. He’d do best with someone who has an active lifestyle. If you’d like to meet him, e-mail adoptions@mymanatee.org.

Hillsborough — Phoebe

Phoebe is a 1-year-old female gray and white domestic short haired cat. She was abandoned from what she thought was her forever home. The experience has left her shaken, but she warms up to humans once she gets to know you. She likes to cuddle with other cats and get belly rubs. To adopt her, go to StFrancisRescue.org.
