Hernando — Anastasia
Anastasia is a 4-year-old tan and white female Terrier mix. She was brought into the shelter with wounds on her face and front leg, which have since healed. She is very friendly to people, but doesn’t like other animals. Anastasia enjoys outdoor activities and basic training. She’s fun loving, but it is recommended she be the only animal in the home. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. For more information, call Hernando County Animal Services at 352-796-5062.
Pinellas — Chip
Chip is a 4-month-old male hound mix. He is an amazing cuddle bunny and loves up his humans with puppy kisses. Since he is a puppy, he will require some basic obedience training and house training. He is good with other dogs and would be a great addition to a family with kids to help him run and burn off energy. For more information, fill out an application at Fluffanimalrescue.org.
Pasco — Amos
Amos is a 3-year-old male dog of unknown breed. His favorite thing is to sit beside his human, roll over for belly rubs and give kisses. He walks well on a leash, sits on command and takes treats gently. Even though he’s 70-pounds, he thinks he’s a lap dog. For more information, call Pasco County Animal Services at 813-929-1212.
Manatee — McMuffin
McMuffin is a 7-year-old mixed breed female dog. She has a sweet demeanor and a beautiful smile. She is very relaxed with a low energy level. She enjoys spending time with other easy going dogs, especially males. She comes spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hillsborough — Merle
Merle is a 7-month-old male chocolate terrier mix. He enjoys playtime, being hugged and carried. He’s an active pup that likes to romp with his toys. He gets along well with other dogs. But, because he’s shy around strangers, he’s best suited for a quiet home with adults and older children. For more information, go to SecondChanceFriends.org.
