Pasco — Melody

Melody is a 4-year-old, 45-pound female dog of unknown breed. She’s a spunky girl looking for someone who can match her energy. She is sweet, affectionate, loving and playful. She tends to be a bit rough and needs work on not being mouthy. Melody is a quick learner and already sits and shakes on command. An active home where she gets a lot of exercise would be ideal. Pinellas — Chip

Chip is a 5-year-old male terrier-basset mix. He is low, long and has giant feet. He is house trained and loves to play with toys and other dogs. This silly boy likes to roll around on his back while he snuggles. He prefers to spend his time playing outdoors. He needs work overcoming fear. He tends to growl when he’s afraid. Hernando — Black Jack

Black Jack is a 3-year-old black and white male terrier mix. He ran loose in Spring Hill for two weeks before being brought to the shelter. He loves people, but is dog selective. Manatee — Gloria

Gloria is a 5-year-old female mixed breed dog. She loves people and prefers to sit by your side to receive affection and give kisses back. She knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. Hillsborough — Slinkie

Slinkie is a 10-month old male Bassett Hound/Terrier mix. He is fun, affectionate and great with other dogs. His rescuers describe him as a “pre-Valentine’s Day sweetheart.” He weighs 30-pounds, has short legs and his feet are so awkwardly huge they’re cute. He comes vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
