Rachel is a 6-year-old female tan-and-white Plott hound. Her owner was forced to turn her over to the shelter when he was placed in a nursing home. Walker (Pinellas)

Walker is a male dog of unknown age and breed. He needs a patient household that will work with him on confidence building. He loves playing with his foster fur-siblings. He is house-trained and would do best in a home without small children or loud noises. He is very sweet and will become your best friend. Mars (Manatee)

Mars is a 7-year-old male mixed-breed dog. All he wants to do is eat, sleep and chase a few squirrels. He is calm, relaxed and very affectionate. Mars is house-trained and knows several commands. Ophelia (Hillsborough)

Barbra (Pasco)

Barbra is a 3-year-old female dog of unknown breed. Nicknamed Barbra Streisand, she’s quite the ham and ready for her starring role. She knows the sit, shake and down commands and takes treats gently. She participates in playgroups and gravitates toward dogs on the gentler side. She generally walks well on the leash but sometimes pulls a bit. She could also use some work on jumping. She is very playful and would make a good walking or jogging companion.
