Michelle Ghent accuses Terrence Howard of hitting her in Costa Rica

Actor Terrence Howard and Michelle Ghent have been divorced since May, but now she's accusing the actor of beating her up during a trip to Costa Rica last week. Plus, he now says he's the one that was attacked.

Ghent and Howard were on a trip to Central America with some members of his family when he abused her, TMZ reports. Howard says Ghent sprayed him, his adult daughter and another family member with Mace.Some sources tell the site one side or the other is making the whole thing up, but police got involved, in any case.

Ghent accused Howard of hitting her back in 2011, too, which makes us think a trip to Costa Rica with him wasn't the best idea. She is now headed to court to get a restraining order against Howard. The couple were married in February 2011; Ghent has said his abuse began only a week later.
