Stop carving that oak stump into a mustache comb for just one second. There’s a comedy show coming to Tampa you’re going to want to hear about.
Nick Offerman, the Parks and Recreation star who turned his man-of-the-woods elan into a cottage industry encompassing books, a Netflix special and a woodworking empire, is coming to the Straz Center in Tampa on Dec. 7. Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale at noon Friday. Click here for details.
Exactly how the actor, known for his flannelly deadpan baritone, will entertain us all remains to be seen. Sometimes, according to his website, he brings wife Megan Mullally out with him, but no such plans have been announced just yet for Tampa.
Here’s how the official event release reads; parse it as you wish:
“All Rise is an evening of deliberative talking and light dance that will compel you to chuckle whilst enjoining you to brandish a better side of humanity than the one to which we have grown accustomed. Genuflection optional: in Offerman’s church, you kneel as you please!”
Sounds very Offermanesque. Click here for details.
