Anyone who caught Old Dominion at this yea's Florida Strawberry Festival shouldn't be surprised by this news: The Virginia country group has graduated to arenas.
Old Dominion, the Vocal Group of the Year at last year's Country Music Association Awards, have announced that their upcoming fall tour will hit Tampa's Yuengling Center on Nov. 1, their biggest local headlining show yet. They'll be joined by American Idol alum Scotty McCreery, as well as Ryan Hurd (a.k.a. Mr. Maren Morris).
Tickets to the show start at $35 and go on sale at 10 a.m. May 17. Click here for details.
For Old Dominion, things have been building for a while to a show of this magnitude. A string of country radio No. 1s, including Hotel Key and Written In the Sand, led to a slot opening Kenny Chesney's Trip Around the Sun Tour at Raymond James Stadium. At this year's Strawberry Festival, they were the closing-night headliners, commanding some of the top ticket prices of the entire fest.
