St. Pete Pride's first big foray into multi-night concert programming is not quite going as planned.

British pop star Rita Ora has canceled her June 22 performance at St. Pete Pride, part of a two-night outdoor concert in Straub Park that would've doubled as the culmination of this year's Pride parade..

In a statement, St. Pete Pride executive director Luke Blankenship said that Ora "has canceled all upcoming events for the next several weeks due to unforeseen circumstances."

While VIP ticketholders for the Ora concert will be refunded, the concert component of this year's Pride isn't being canceled. There's still a Lisa Loeb concert on June 21 in Straub Park, and organizers are working to book a replacement for Ora on June 22. That show is free, with reserved VIP tickets available for $50 and up. Click here for details.
