-- The Reverend Horton Heat is firing up a new holiday hootenanny tour with Dave Alvin, the Voodoo Glow Skulls and the 5678s. It'll hit Jannus Live on Dec. 21. Tickets go on sale Friday. Click here.

-- South Florida rapper Trina is coming to Limelight, 5305 N Armenia Ave., on Friday. Tickets are $10 and up. Click here.

-- A couple of notable tribute acts are making their way back to town: Phish/Talking Heads/Pink Floyd tribute band Pink Talking Fish on Nov. 15 at the Orpheum (click here); and Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime with Roots of Creation and Artikal Sound System on Nov. 16 at Jannus Live (click here).
