Say this much for the Tampa Bay Blues Festival: They don't waste any time planning ahead.

Just a few months after their 2019 edition, the blues fest has announced most of its 2020 lineup, coming to St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park on April 3-5. Aaron Neville, blues legend Jimmie Vaughan and St. Pete-bred sax star Mindi Abair are among the headliners of Saturday's festivities; while Elvis Costello-approved Atlanta roots duo Larkin Poe will lead the way on Sunday.

Right now, there's still a headliner slot open on Friday, April 3, but that's about it. The rest of the festival's 25th anniversary lineup, including a Thursday pre-party and Saturday after-party, appears set. Here's the lineup as it stands:

Thursday, April 2: Kickoff party with Christone "Kingfish" Ingram at the Palladium. Tickets are $30 and up. Click here.

Friday, April 3: The headliner is still to be determined, but the rest of the lineup includes Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, Danielle Nicole, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram and Jason Ricci. Day tickets are $45 and up.

Saturday, April 4: Aaron Neville, Jimmie Vaughan, the Proven Ones featuring Kid Ramos, Mindi Abair and the Boneshakers and Dawn Tyler Watson. Day tickets are $45 and up. There's a free after-party at Ringside Cafe, featuring music from the Proven Ones and Dawn Tyler Watson. Click here for details on that.

Sunday, April 5: Larkin Poe, Rod Piazza Band with Rusty Zinn, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Bruce Katz and the Backtrack Blues Band. Day tickets are $40 and up.

Advance three-day tickets are $110 and up. Click here for details.
