Here comes a hootenanny.
The Zac Brown Band, always one of the most fun and freewheeling country acts on the live circuit, has announced a new tour for summer and fall 2019, and as always, it includes a stop in Tampa. The date of the show: Oct. 20. Tickets will start at $40 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 8. Click here for details.
The Owl Tour, as it's called, will feature songs from Zac's as-yet-untitled album, which, according to a press release, will "draw inspiration from the mythology and mystery surrounding the Great Horned Owl that can see perfectly in the night, serving as a guide when we need sight in even the darkest of moments."
It'll also feature opening act Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, who recently served as Jackson Maine's backing band in A Star Is Born. Will we see them on stage at this year's Oscars, maybe backing Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga on Shallow? No idea. But we will see them at the Gasparilla Music Festival on March 10 in Tampa; click here for details on that.
