My Outfit Monday: What's your uniform?

Errand outfit, with bonus dogs who, unlike Cinderella's tiny birds and mice, did not actually help me get dressed this morning.

As much as I try to switch it up, I definitely have a uniform (figuratively anyway -- though I've done the literal uniform thing, too. Hello, red grocery store polo in college). For some of the blogs/magazines I read, uniform means adorable dresses and heals, or a great sweater. For me the equation looks like cardigan+scarf+jeans=outfit.

I wore this today to run errands -- Banana Republic cardigan, Gap three-quarter tee, Target jeans, Sperry flats and a colorful scarf. Along with this new (and very versatile) bag from Target, it was perfect to thrown on this morning to go out on my day off and get some stuff done. Simple, but without just resorting to a ratty tee and sneakers.

I wear some variation of this a lot. Actually, I think I wore this exact outfit to work one night last week. And I have another shirt just like this in a different color, and I'm pretty sure I wore that one last week too. Hey, whatever works.

Do you have a go-to for work? Or something you always reach for to run errands? What's your "uniform"?
