Count your dollars. We're going shopping.
Monday, Aug. 17, is National Thrift Store Day, an unofficial recognition of all cheap, secondhand wonders that go toward a good cause.
Just like the July 23 combo of National Hot Dog Day and National Vanilla Ice Cream Day, the Deal Divas intend to celebrate.
Not sure where to go? Here's a roundup of our favorite stores (plus some favorite consignment and vintage shops).
Suncoast Hospice Resale Shoppes: Here's one thrift enterprise that is actually broadcasting a special in honor of the (unofficial) holiday. There are three locations, Countryside, Clearwater and St. Peterrsburg, and all will offer 25 percent discounts off purchases on Monday. Also, the first 200 visitors at each store will receive a mystery free giveaway with the possibility of getting more prizes, too.
Sunshine Thrift: With locations in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Bradenton, this place is a Deal Divas fave for professional work blazers and Halloween costumes (like my 2012 McKayla Maroney leotard, holla) alike. Sign up for text and email coupons so you know which days to cut your bill in HALF. Heads up, St. Pete: Monday is the day to save 50 percent on your purchase, but you need to sign up for the coupons.
Second Image Thrift Store, 9099 US Highway 19, Pinellas Park: Deal Diva Michelle writes, "I used to go to Second Image Thrift Store ALL THE TIME. Have many gently worn dresses from there in good brands. It's large, and they have extra sales on certain colored tags throughout the week, and usually a $1 rack out front."
CASA Thrift Shoppe, 1011 1st Ave. N, St. Petersburg: Proceeds help CASA programs for victims of domestic violence.
Pet Pal Thrift Shop (1500 34th St. N, St. Petersburg): Donations benefit an animal shelter.
