Hernando — Murphy
Murphy is a 1-year-old white and tan terrier mix who can’t get enough attention and positive reinforcement. He needs lots of exercise, play time and loves learning new skills. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm-positive. Adoption fees are $50-$70. For more information or to adopt him, contact Hernando County Animal Services at (352) 796-5062, or AC@hernando.fl.us.
Pasco — Louis
This 2-year-old pup loves splashing in kiddie pools and endless games of fetch. He can be a little boisterous at times, but he plays well with other animals and is learning basic commands. One thing he needs work on is dinnertime manners. He needs a little discipline when eating near other dogs. If you’re interested in Louis, call Pasco County Animal Services at (813) 929-1212 and ask to meet him.
Pinellas — Alexander
Alexander is like the cowardly lion in the Wizard of Oz. He’s shy, but once you gain his trust, he’s loving and loyal. He loves to eat and purrs a lot. His timid disposition makes him best suited to a home without dogs or children. A skin condition caused him to loose some hair, but it is starting to grow back. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. For more information or to adopt him, contact Friends of Strays at friendsofstrays.org.
Hillsborough — Sunny
Sunny got her name because she loves chasing sunbeams and lizards on the patio. She is a buff colored young adult who is very affectionate with people and other cats. She has been known to wander, so a screened outdoor area is best for her. To meet and adopt Sunny through St. Francis Society Animal Rescue, go to StFrancisRescue.org.
