PLANT CITY—Tampa police arrested a Benito Middle School teacher Monday, accusing him of sexual battery against two students.

Alex Jeffrey Hull, 31, faces charges that include sexual battery, lewd and lascivious conduct and molestation and showing obscene materials to minors.

Hull, of Plant City, was a teacher at the school and the two victims were students, police say. Hull faces a total of five counts of sexual battery.

Police said his crimes occurred between November 2017 and May 2018. A parent of a victim reported him to authorities.

There is no evidence there are other victims, police said. But authorities urge students and parents with knowledge of possible other victims to come forward.
