FLORIDA'S SECOND MOST POWERFUL REPUBLICAN PASSES ON GOVERNOR'S RACE

Today marked the end of Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran's long-awaited campaign for governor. At a morning press conference in Tallahassee, Corcoran endorsed Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam. Putnam, an establishment Republican, is now locked in a two-man primary race against U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis, a favorite of Fox News hosts who was endorsed by President Trump. Corcoran told reporters that he re-evaluated and realized he did not "have the resources to win."

POLITIFACT: CAN ROBERT MUELLER SUBPOENA DONALD TRUMP?

President Donald Trump has said he'd "love to speak" to special counsel Robert Mueller but that some of his lawyers advise against it. The latest member of Trump's legal team, Rudy Giuliani, said Trump is under no obligation to comply with a subpoena from Mueller and his team about the Russia investigation. For those who are healthy, inducing labor at 39 weeks lowers the risk of serious complications and cesarean delivery , according to a team of researchers led by Dr. Charles J. Lockwood, dean of the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. The USF team compared results they recorded from healthy pregnant women induced at 39 weeks to those who were induced at 41 weeks or beyond.

A semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Ronde Barber appeared in more games (241) and made more starts (232) than any player in Bucs history during a stellar 16-year career. But Barber isn't remembered just for playing every week. It's for playing so well. Barber shouldn't just be in the Ring of Honor, Rick Stroud writes, he should be next.
