Frank is a 5-year-old, 50-pound, purebred boxer. True to his breed, he’s goofy and playful. Frank loves people and is happy just laying at your feet. He gets along well with other dogs his size and larger. Because of his high energy level, he benefits from a strong leader and is best suited for a family with children ages 10 and older. Pinkie and Patches are 2-year-old sister cats with opposite personalities. Pinkie is sweet with a velvety calico coat. She loves attention and is usually found in her feline perching tree. Patches is a very relaxed cat. She just likes to sleep, be loved on and give cuddles. Both cats need to be adopted together. Thunder is a 2-year-old, male mixed breed dog. He’s a couch potato with a meatball personality. He just wants what all dogs want, a safe home with a comfy bed, food and love. Hernando — Lexi

Lexi is an 8-year-old, female Terrier mix. She was abandoned in an empty house in Brooksville after being seriously injured by another dog. As her wounds healed, she enjoyed playtime outdoors and walks with shelter volunteers. She’s looking for a quieter, gentler lifestyle where she can be treated like a queen.
