One person dies, another injured in Seffner mobile-home fire

Crews said the smoke was visible from a distance. The home was completely destroyed.

One person died and another was injured after a fire erupted early Friday morning at a mobile home park in Seffner.

Crews needed 30 minutes to put out the fire, and the home was completely destroyed, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.

Firefighters arrived at the 6400 block of Black Dairy Road at 4:48 a.m. to find the home fully engulfed in flames.

Crews said the smoke was visible many blocks away.

The victims have not been identified.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
