Man found shot on E Deleuil Avenue in Tampa

TAMPA — A 21-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday at the 4300 block of E Deleuil Avenue, police said.

Officers say they found the man lying in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound at about 4:20 a.m. They immediately applied first aid and the man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. He later died of his injuries.

Detectives continue to investigate. The victim’s name was not released and no further information was available Sunday.
