Several media outlets in north Florida are reporting that an F-22 from Eglin Air Force Base crashed Friday morning.

The jet was part of a training flight and was not a member of flyover teams that were saluting front-line medical workers this week, according to this report from WKRG News 5.

Reports say the pilot was able to eject from the aircraft and was taken to a hospital in stable condition. The crash occurred in Okaloosa County, according to the WKRG report.

The flyovers saluting front line medical workers, including this one in the Tampa Bay area, were appreciated by medical staff.
